Stageira, Chalkidiki

In just one and a half hour from Nea Potidea you can reach Stageira, a village situated at the very place that ancient Stageira were built, the native city of Aristotle. You can visit the archeological site and see what the excavations have revealed from the city of the famous greek philosopher and scientist. You might also find interesting the «Aristotle’s Park», a theme park that houses experimental instruments, operating by rules of physics that are mentioned in Aristotle’s textbooks.
